Hey, I'm Leo and I'm glad you're taking the time to read this. Hopefully my portfolio provides a little bit of insight into my life, albeit fairly random and out of the ordinary. Currently I'm looking for a Fall 2026 Co-op internship, so if you're a hiring manager: make sure to head over to my contact page on the way out.

Ever since I was young, I've always been someone who likes making things. I started at 6 years old experimenting with science projects, raspberry pis, and building stuff out in the backyard. I'd love to be creative and just figure out how stuff works. As I got older, that turned into an interest in business, design, marketing, and all things technology.

I spent many years in the gym as a competitive powerlifter, going on to coach and be a captain of the school powerlifting team. But now I spend my free time learning boxing, muay thai and ju-jitsu instead.

I split my time between Calgary and Waterloo where I study Global Business and Digital Arts at UWaterloo. This is a hands on program where we study not only business but also design and media.

I absolutely love this program and the flexibility it gives me to create anything I want. You'll see that most of my school assignments aren't really assignments but more open ended creative projects.

GBDA is a Co-op program which means that instead of having a summer break like most university students we get a study term all summer long which is followed by a paid internship for 4 months from September 2026 to January 2027.
